Terms and Conditions
A security deposit will be taken on booking. This deposit is refundable, in whole or in part, after the property has been inspected after departure and cleaning, minus any damages incurred during your stay.
Rose deposit is £150, Honeysuckle House £250 and The Whole House £400.
Management reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning if the property is not left in a tidy and clean condition, and extra cleaning is needed over and above usual.
Please adhere to correct waste and recycling disposal as charges may also be made if staff need to sort out dustbins, glass bins and recycling.
Although the house and cottage are of a high standard it is important that pets are accepted with care. Pets must not be allowed upstairs, in bedrooms or on soft furnishings. Dogs should not left unattended in the property and must sleep in the porch or in a closed cage.
Dogs are charged at £25 each. Please note your dog/ pet on the booking form.
All fuel is included in the rental. Unlimited fuel and kindling for wood burning stoves is provided. Wood is provided for the barbecue but bring charcoal if you prefer.
It is Strongly Advised that you take out Cancellation Insurance
Cancellation by You
If you have to cancel your reservation you must telephone on the number shown on your booking confirmation as soon as the reason for the cancellation occurs. You must also confirm your cancellation in writing. The day on which the cancellation is received by telephone is the day on which your reservation is cancelled.
Deposits are non-refundable unless the property is re-let.
Please note that should you cancel your booking prior to the balance due date, this amount still remains payable by you and is refunded (less an administration fee of £25) only if it has been possible to re-let the holiday subsequent to your cancellation. We suggest you ensure that your holiday insurance covers you for this.
Bluebell Croft is insured against loss or injury through negligence. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by Bluebell Croft, the use by Tenants of any house or its facilities is entirely at their own risk.
Your contract is between the person signing the booking form and Bluebell Croft and is subject to the following conditions.
A breach of any of these conditions may result in a termination of our contract without refund.
Your booking should be for holiday purposes only unless otherwise agreed in writing. These properties must not be used for party purposes, weddings or filming without prior written agreement.
A Facility Fee may be payable for a function or party where the numbers using the property exceed the capacity the house can sleep.
The properties are as described on the web-site.
The accommodation is of a high standard and has achieved the 5 star grading of VisitScotland.
Your Holiday House
You can arrive at your accommodation after 4pm on the start date of your holiday and you must vacate the property by 10am on your final day. If you anticipate being much later than 4pm, please let Chrissie know on 01967 402226. In any case, please phone from the Corran ferry so Chrissie knows when to meet you with warm scones.
You agree to keep the house clean and tidy and to leave it in a similar condition of cleanliness to when you arrived. Following your departure, any additional cleaning, beyond the normal amount reasonably required, may be charged for. If you have not stayed with us before, a good housekeeping/breakage deposit is payable in cash on arrival of £150 in Rose, £250 in Honeysuckle and £400 for the Whole House returned when you leave if the house is left as found.
The numbers in your party must never exceed the stated house capacity except by prior written agreement. Rose accommodates 4, Honeysuckle 8 and the Whole House 12. If there are more than this the cost is £15 per bed per day (£50 per week) and £5 per cot per day (£20 per week). Please include these on the Booking Form where appropriate.
You must be 21 years or over when you book the accommodation.
Bluebell Croft has the right to refuse any booking prior to the issuing of any confirmation in writing. When you receive your confirmation you must check all the details carefully for accuracy and contact Chrissie immediately if you find any discrepancy.
Rentals and Charges
In order to secure a booking you need to make a deposit payment of 25% of the total rental. A provisional booking will be held for 3 days but is not guaranteed that this will still be available at the end of the 3 day period. On receipt of your deposit, your booking will be confirmed in writing. You are then responsible for the balance of the rental, which is due no later than 6 weeks prior to your arrival. If your holiday is within the 6 week period, you are required to pay the full rental at booking.
It is hoped you will not have any cause for complaint but in the event of a problem arising, you must in the first instance contact Chrissie immediately so that any problem may be speedily resolved, as she must be given the opportunity to rectify the problem. Some problems are very easily rectified if notified early.
The contract between you and the Owner is subject to Scots Law and is formed in Bluebell Croft, 15 Anaheilt, Strontian, Ardnamurchan, Scotland. PH36 4JA
