The Whole House has 6 en-suite bedrooms sleeping 12 with space for 4 or 5 extra children (i.e. a total of 16-17). The dining table seats up to 16 and the sitting rooms are suitable for 12+ in Honeysuckle, 8+ in the conservatory and 4 in Rose. There are no sofa beds in either house. The hot tub for up to 8 adults is shared between the house and cottage.
Please let us know the configuration of beds when you book. There is also the option of swaping the goose down duvets (two 'all season', joined together to provide the tog throughout the year to suit you, from 4 through 9.5 to 13.5) in one twin for blankets and eiderdowns. Terms and Conditions. 1) Bookings are (usually) from Friday to Friday. Arrival time is 4 pm and departure by 10 am. Please try not to arrive before 4 pm - if you are early there is a really good tea room/restaurant at Ariundle just a mile past us on the right near the start of the Ariundle Oakwoods. 2) All tariff's are for a maximum of 4 guests in Rose, 8 in Honeysuckle and 12 in the Whole House. Extra beds as used, are charged at £50 per bed or £20 per cot per stay. 3) Bookings are confirmed on receipt of the deposit by cheque please to 'Bluebell Croft', Strontian, Highlands, PH36 4JA which is 25% of the cost, with the remainder due 6 weeks before arrival (together with the good housekeeping deposit see below). If by some chance you have to cancel we will refund your money less a small administration charge IF we re-let the cottage. We will always do our utmost to do this. We would however always recommend holiday insurance. 4) March 28th '08 we have reviewed our Good Housekeeping charge (payable for your first visit) and we now ask for this to be paid in cash on the day of arrival - £200 in Honeysuckle, £100 in Rose and £300 in the Whole House. This will be held until the end of your stay and returned in full if there are no breakages or damage and the house is left clean and tidy (with furniture to original positions please) as when you arrived. If you booked before this date this was our policy - A Good Housekeeping deposit of £350 for the whole house, £125 for Rose and £225 for Honeysuckle is due with the final payment 6 weeks before arrival. This will be returned in full by cheque posted the evening of departure if there are no breakages or damage and the house is left as clean and tidy (with furniture to original positions please) as when you arrived. 5) Although this is a wonderful place to bring dogs and they are very welcome, please take great care. If they are wet, they must be kept in the porches, where we also ask that they always sleep at night (unless they are guide dogs or assisting dogs). Please never leave dogs in the house alone or allow them to go upstairs, in the bedrooms or on any furniture. There is a charge of £20 per dog per stay (this is not a cleaning charge - we hope there will be no evidence of your dogs when you leave). 6) No smoking indoors please. 7) No hen or stag parties. 8) A full list of goodies to order is on the Good Food page and all chemicals (please do not bring other varieties as they upset the delicate nature of the septic tank) and liquid soap by Ecover, re-cycled loo paper, tissues, bio-degradable bin liners and things for washing-up are included. 9) All linen, towels, bathmats and drying up cloths are included as are towels for the hot tub - don't forget swimming costumes and please bring your own towels for the beach. 9) Please bring indoor shoes as we ask you not to wear shoes indoors (the under-floor heating makes it a delight). 10) All heating is included as are kindling and plenty of logs. 11) Although every care is taken over safety we can not be held responsible for accidents to children (or adults!) playing anywhere on the croft. If we are already full, do consider booking for 2009 as we are already getting lots of bookings or contact My sister Caroline on 01540 651388 who has a beautiful house sleeping 12-16 in 6 en-suite rooms in the Cairngorm National Park March House, Feshiebridge near Aviemore see www.kincraig.com/marchself Christopher Main who has a fabulous house by the sea at Glenelg that sleeps 8.
